Geography

Flacht is in the Taunus four kilometers south of Limburg an der Lahn. The municipality is located in the flattest area of ​​the Aartals on the lower Aar.

History

On February 17, 881 a church in Flachta was mentioned in a document of the Abbey of Prüm first time.

Judaism

Evangelical Church

Said at the first mention Flachts in 881 and is part of the Prüm Abbey Church was at an unknown date before 1226 over to the St. Florin pin in Koblenz and remained in the property until the Reformation. Rail traffic
