Greece at the 2012 Summer Olympics
Greece took part in London at the 2012 Olympic Games. There was a total of 27 competing in the Olympic Summer Games. From the Comité Olympique Hellénique total of 103 athletes were nominated in 16 sports. The triple jumper Paraskevi Papahrístou was excluded from the head of the Greek Olympic Team, Isidore Kouvelos, from the Games on 25 July. Papaphrístou had expressed about the messaging service Twitter hurtful about African immigrants in Greece. The high jumper Dimitrios Chondrokoukis was excluded one day before the start of the Games after a positive doping test.
