Harborough

Harborough is a District in the county of Leicestershire in England. Administrative seat is the town of Market Harborough. Other important towns are Broughton Astley, Fleckney, Great Bowden, Houghton on the Hill, Lutterworth, Kibworth and Scraptoft.

The district was formed on 1 April 1974 and evolved from the merger of the Urban District Market Harborough and the Rural District Market Harborough, Lutterworth and Billesdon.
