Harry "Hap" Holmes Memorial Award

The Harry " Hap " Holmes Memorial Award is an ice hockey trophy in the American Hockey League. It is awarded annually since 1948 to the goalkeeper with the least Gegentorschnitt. It is assumed that the goalkeeper has at least 25 games disputed. Before 1972, the goalkeeper must have played at least half of all games.

The trophy was named after Hap Holmes, who was in the period early years of the National Hockey League to the best goalkeepers in North America. He won with different teams, including Toronto and Seattle, the Stanley Cup.
