Hoya de Huesca/Plana de Uesca

Hoya de Huesca ( Aragonese Plana de Uesca ) is a Comarca (administrative unit ) of the Aragon Autonomous Community in Spain. It lies mostly in the province of Huesca (but includes the municipalities Murillo de Gallego and Santa Eulalia de Gallego of the Zaragoza province ) and has an area of ​​2525 km ² 60 525 inhabitants. Its capital is Huesca, also the largest of the 40 municipalities ( municipios ) of the comarca.

The comarca is located in the center of the Somontano region in the province of Huesca, and is crossed by the rivers Isuela, Río Flumen and Guatizalema. It lies between the rivers Sotón and Alcanadre, bordering the mountain ranges Gratal and Guara.
