The community Ilm Valley Wine Route is a rural municipality in the district of Weimar ( Thuringia). The provisional council is based in Pfiffelbach.

Geography

The name of the new church refers to the location of some districts in the valley of the Ilm and the medieval Altstrasse " Wine Route ", which is now marked as a regional trail.

Ilm Valley Wine Route has the following neighboring communities: Bad Sulza, Jena, Wiegendorf, Kromsdorf, Sachsenhausen, Leutenthal, Rohrbach and Buttelstedt.

The districts of the rural community are: Goldbach, Liebstedt, Mattstedt, tearing down, Niederroßla, Nirmsdorf, Oberreißen, Oßmannstedt, Pfiffelbach, Ulrich Half, Wersdorf, Willerstedt.

The community takes for Kromsdorf - the last church of the former administrative community Ilm Valley Wine Trail - the role a fulfilling community true.

History

The rural municipality was created on 31 December 2013 from the merger of nine of the ten municipalities of the administrative community Ilm Valley Wine Route. The community Oßmannstedt decided only on the basis of a civil Entscheides in October 2013 the rural community to join. On 19 December 2013, the merger was included in the Thuringian law for voluntary reorganization in 2013. The preliminary main statutes and rules of procedure was decided on 21 January 2014.
