Ingendorf

Ingendorf is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Bitburg -Land.

Geography

Ingendorf is located southwest of the county town of Bitburg on the western edge of the Nimstales. In this valley at an altitude of 250 m above sea level. NN is also the historic residential buildings.

History

Today's local church was first mentioned in 792. The couple Harduwin and Ava gave the Abbey of Echternach then goods to Headstrong. Roman origins Inge village were uncovered in 1841, when a larger Roman settlement area was excavated in the area of the intersection of Inge villages, Bettinger and betting Linger district. In the hallway, "Behind Rod" just west of the village found the remains of the lost town " Roder toes ", which is known from a document from 1352.

Until the French rule Ingendorf belonged to the rule Ließem and Wolsfeld in the Duchy of Luxembourg. After the region was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia at the Congress of Vienna, the community Ingendorf came in 1816 to the mayoralty Dockendorf, the (1927 renamed the Office Wolsfeld ) later became the mayor Wolsfeld.

The local council in Ingendorf consists of six council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 by majority vote, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Coat of arms

Blue and silver occupy the membership of Ingendorf to the Duchy of Luxembourg, the three golden stars in chief indicate the Luxembourg provost Bitburg. Attribute of the church 's patron saint, Saint Andrew Schrage is the red cross.

Attractions

The center is home to several of listed homes.

In the village center there is a chapel built in 1960 with a pointed gable roof. It is supported by triangular and partially detached buttresses.

The community features a large children 's playground with an adjacent football field.
