James Morrison (footballer)

James Clark Morrison ( born May 25, 1986 in Darlington, England) is an Anglo- Scottish footballer who currently plays for West Bromwich Albion.

Career

From 1998 to 2003 Morrison played in the youth team of FC Middlesbrough. On 3 January 2004, he then gave his debut in the first team. Morrison's first assignment was in the UEFA Cup on 30 September 2004 against Banik Ostrava. In this game, he scored his first goal for Middelsbrough.

In August 2007, he undertook the English second division side West Bromwich Albion for € 3 million, of which € 1 million depending on operations until 2011. Moreover Middlesbrough receives at resale of the 25 -year-old midfielder's 15 % percent of the release of West Bromwich. In the current 2010/11 season he made 25 games for his club, scoring 4 hits.

National

Morrison played in almost all the youth national teams of England.

His grandparents were Scots, so he had to play the authorization for both national teams. He opted for the Scottish and completed on 30 May 2008 his first international match against the Czech Republic.
