The jan Breydelstadion is a football stadium in Bruges, Belgium.

The jan Breydelstadion ( to 1998 Olympic Stadium ) was built in 1975 and is the home stadium of the city rivals Club Brugge and Cercle Brugge, the rent the stadium from the city of Bruges. The stadium initially offered space for 30,000 spectators (of which 8,000 seats ) to 1993, most standing room were replaced by seats and thus fell back the capacity to 18,000 seats.

In 1998, the Olympic Stadium was selected for the European Football Championship. Therefore, the stadium was expanded with the support of the Flemish Community and the Belgian government to 30,000 seats. One of the requirements for support was that the Olympic Stadium in January Breydelstadion should be renamed as a tribute to Jan Breydel, a leader of the revolt of Bruges against the French King Philip IV the Fair at the beginning of the 14th century.
