Joe Bonamassa
Joe Bonamassa ( born May 8, 1977 in New Hartford, NY, USA) is an American blues and blues-rock guitarist, singer and composer.
Life
Joe Bonamassa was born on 8 May 1977 in New Hartford, where his father owned a guitar shop. He started at the age of four years with a manufactured on a small scale Chiquita guitar playing the guitar. When he was 12 years old, he already played with BB King. At 14 he was invited to accompany an event of the musical instrument manufacturer Fender. During this trip to the West Coast he met Berry Oakley, Jr., son of the Allman Brothers bassist know. Bonamassa and Oakley founded together with Erin Davis, son of Miles Davis, and Waylon Krieger, son of Robby Krieger, the band Bloodline, which they brought out an album with EMI, on which the two chart singles Stone Cold Hearted and Dixie Peach were included. Bonamassa is dating Scottish singer Sandi Thom what he is known in the booklet of his published in May 2012 CD "Driving Towards the Daylight" under the Acknowledgements.
Solo career
His first album, A New Day Yesterday, was released in 2000 and was produced by Tom Dowd. He played in a trio with Kenny Kramme on drums and Eric Czar on bass. After a concert tour, which was to promote the album, went Bonamassa and his fellow musicians in 2002 returned to the studio to record the produced Clif Magness album So It 's Like That. The second album is rock -heavy than the rest of his works, and reached number one on the Billboard Blues Charts. During the tour for the album, the demand was growing for a traditional blues album, after which the band in 2003, which was incidentally the "Year of the Blues", the next album Blues Deluxe brought out. On the album nine cover versions Blue classics, as well as three original compositions Bonamassa are included. This album also reached number one on the Billboard Blues Charts. Bonamassa and his band toured again together with BB King and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, on the occasion of the eightieth birthday trip to Kings. For the recordings he committed numerous studio musicians such as Jason Bonham on drums.
On March 10, 2012 Bonamassa got his first gold record for 100,000 DVDs sold his concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Joe Bonamassa plays with Steve Morse guitar with Jon Lord's new recording of " Concerto For Group And Orchestra ", which was published on 28 September, 2012.
Black Country Communion
In 2010, Bonamassa joined with Glenn Hughes, Jason Bonham and Derek Sherinian together to the group Black Country Communion; the jointly -produced album Black Country Communion released on 16 September 2010., the simply -titled album was released 2 June 10, 2011, the subsequent European tour was held with Live Over Europe on CD. The third studio album, Afterglow was released on 26 October 2012.
