John M. Hyneman

John M. Hyneman ( born April 25, 1771 in Reading, Pennsylvania, † April 16, 1816 ) was an American politician. Between 1811 and 1813, he represented the state of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Career

John Hyneman attended the public schools of his home. Later he hit as a member of the Democratic-Republican Party launched a political career. In 1809 he was a member of the House of Representatives from Pennsylvania; 1810 to 1816, including during his time as a congressman, he was employed at the court of guardianship. He was also a brigadier general of state militia of Pennsylvania.

In the congressional elections of 1810 Hyneman was in the third electoral district of Pennsylvania in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington DC chosen, where he became the successor of Matthias Richards on March 4, 1811. After a re-election in the seventh district of his state he could remain until his resignation on August 2, 1813 in Congress. In this time of the beginning of the British -American War of 1812 fell.

In his death in 1816 was John Hyneman director of land surveying in Berks County. He died on 16 April 1816 in his hometown of Reading, where he was also buried.
