The 8th Junior Euro Song Contest 2010 was held on November 20 in Minsk.

Belarus got the commitment due to numerous participations in the Euro Vision Song Contest (ESC ) and Junior Euro Song Contest ( JESC ) and the great popularity of the JESC in their own country. In addition, there sat a born Alexander Rybak, winner of the 54th Euro Vision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, one of a host in Minsk.

Venue

The Minsk Arena, which was completed in late 2009, was the arena for the JESC 2010., You can hold up to 15,000 people and was built especially for sports events. The Euro Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the first major event in the arena.

Participant

The European Broadcasting Union originally wanted to publish the final list of participants in mid-June. However, since they needed more time to get in touch with all countries, this plan was initially rejected. End of July, the final list was announced.
