Leštiny
Leštiny (Hungarian Lestin - to 1882 Lestinye ) is a municipality in the north of Slovakia. It lies between the mountain ranges in the north and Orava Magura Chočské Hills in the south, on the banks of the creek Lestinsky creek. It is 7 km from Dolny Kubin and 17 km from Ružomberok.
The first written mention was made in the year 1325. Worth the Protestant wooden church (so-called articular ) from 1689, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2008.
