List of football stadiums in Mexico
The list of football stadiums in Mexico includes all former and current venues of the 1943 introduced professional league.
The presentation is based on the alphabetical order of cities. Within cities, the stadiums are listed chronologically ( by year of opening or use). Not known data on the capacity and the opening year remain unfilled. The dates given in parentheses after the clubs relate only to the period of use of the stadium to first division.
In the second section further important football stadiums are listed which were not previously venue of Erstligabegegnungen. Were selected for this purpose only stadiums with a capacity of at least 10,000 and usually have a venue for the second division of Mexico ( ie existing between 1994/95 and 2008/ 09 La Liga 'A' or the 2009/10 introduced Liga de Ascenso ) were. The only exceptions to the second requirement, form which also aufgenommenenen stadium of the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México ( UAEM ), because it is a venue of a professional team in American football and, with a capacity of 32,000 to the bigger stages of Mexico, and Estadio Heriberto Jara Corona that was already three times the venue for the athletics championships from Central America and the Caribbean and is considered one of the most beautiful stadiums in the world.
Be rejected totally in these lists still under construction or in the planning stages located that were not used yet ( professional football ).
