Lukas Thürauer

Luke Thürauer ( born December 21, 1987 in Vienna) is an Austrian football player. He currently plays for FC Trenkwalder Admira in the Austrian Bundesliga.

Club career

Thürauer began his career in the youth teams of his home salvors SV and Kremser SC. In consequence he was in junior training center (later Academy ) added St. Pölten. 2005 was a personal blow when in his cancer was diagnosed. A professional career was thus receded into the distance. The treatments ran but positive and Thürauer could beat cancer.

The Group ventured to the academy near SKN St. Pölten in January 2007. In consequence he was already in the Regionalliga Ost sit up with strong performances. At the end of the season 2007/ 08 he celebrated with the team the championship title in the Regional League East and the associated rise in the First League.

In the 2008 /09 season he made then with an extremely young team St. Pölten sensation. In the end they finished the 5 standings. Personally, his season was with the election of the " Young Star of the Year" awards. He was able to record eight Torerfolge in 32 games this season.

After several inquiries from the Bundesliga came in a row regarding a possible transfer of Thürauer, he extended his contract with St. Pölten by the year 2010.

Several football experts certify Thürauer great talent. He also enjoys a central midfielder with Austrian citizenship a kind of " exotic status " because this position is usually occupied in Austrian football of legionaries.

On 20 January 2012 it was announced that Thürauer switches to FC Trenkwalder Admira in the Bundesliga.

National

So far Thürauer was appointed only in 2007 by the then team manager Paul Gludovatz for the friendly international against Switzerland "on call " in the Austrian U -20 squad.
