Maclodio
Maclodio is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1501 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. The municipality is situated approximately 16 km west-southwest of Brescia.
History
On October 12, 1427, it caught between the battle of Maclodio commanded by Carmagnola troops of the Republic of Venice and the commanded by Carlo Malatesta army of the Duke Filippo Maria Visconti of Milan. The Venetian troops prevailed.
Traffic
Through the community ( the provincial road SPBS235 today ) of Pavia leads the former Strada Statale 235 di Orzinuovi after Roncadelle.
