Mammah Kandeh

Mom Kandeh ( born July 12, 1965) is a politician in the West African state of Gambia.

Life

Kenadeh, son of Groit N'gaari Kandeh grew up in the district of Sami. Kandeh visited in 1972 the primary school and later secondary school. From 1985 he was employed by the Gambia Ports Authority as a clerk, in 1990 he visited on the Gambia Technical Training Institute ( GTTI ) a course for accounting (English RSA course in accounting). In 1994 he was at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences.

Political life

In the parliamentary elections of 2002 Kandeh ran as the candidate of the Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction (APRC ) in the constituency Jimara for election and won the constituency for lack of rival candidates for themselves. At the 2007 elections Kandeh could defend his constituency against his rival candidate Adama Barrow of the United Democratic Party ( UDP).

From 2004, he is also member of the Pan-African Parliament. Also in the following parliamentary term from 2009 he is a member of this Parliament and in the Committee on Trade, Customs and Immigration.
