Montelanico

Montelanico is a municipality in the province of Rome in the Italian region Latium, located about 2179 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is situated 75 kilometers south-east of Rome.

Geography

Montelanico located on the edge of the Monti Lepini above the valley of the Sacco. It is a member of the Comunità Montana Monti Lepini. Montelanico adjacent to Anagni (FR), Carpineto Romano, Cori ( LT), Gavignano, Gorga, Norma ( LT) and Segni.

Traffic

Montelanico located 19 km from the Anagni exit on the A1 motorway Autostrada del Sole from Rome to Naples.

Simone Temofonte (center - left coalition ) was elected in April 2005 to the mayor. His center-left alliance also with 8 of 12 seats, the majority in the City Council.
