Saracinesco
Saracinesco is a municipality in the province of Rome in the Italian region Latium, located about 192 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located 54 km northeast of Rome.
Geography
Saracinesco located in the Monti Ruffi above the valley of the Aniene and is a member of the Comunità Montana Valle Aniene.
The neighboring communities are anti Corrado, Cerreto Laziale, Mandela, Rocca Canterano, Sambuci and Vicovaro.
Traffic
Saracinesco is located on the A24 motorway, Strada dei Parchi. The next exit is Mandela 7 km away.
With the nearby station of Mandela village lies on the railway line Rome - Avezzano.
History
The place is was founded in the 9th century as a base of Saracens, which also earned him his name. 1052 it came into the possession of the Benedictines of Subiaco on the expansion of the castle (now a few remnants in the center ) back.

Marco Orsola ( Civil List Lista by Saracinesco ) was elected in June 2009 for the mayor. He solved Giuseppe Dell'Ali from (since 2004), who did not run.
