Nick Plastino

Nicholas Plastino ( born February 20, 1986 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey Italo- player who is under contract at Örebro HK in the Elitserien since 2013.

Career

Nick Plastino began his career as a hockey player with the Collingwood Blues, for which he was active in the 2003/04 season in the Ontario Junior Hockey League. He then played three years for the Barrie Colts in the Canadian top junior league Ontario Hockey League. From 2007 to 2011, the counsel for Asiago stood in the Italian Serie A1 on the ice. With the team he won in the seasons 2009 /10 and 2010/11 respectively to the Italian league title. The 2010/11 season started the Italo - Canadians at the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, but returned after only 13 games back to Europe and signed in November 2010 a contract with Bofors IK from the HockeyAllsvenskan, the Swedish second division. For the 2013/14 season he was bound by the Elitserien - Up Örebro HK.

Internationally

For Italy Plastino participated in the B World Cup 2011 and the A World Championships in 2010 and 2012.
