History

The Frankish settlement Nordheim vdRhön was founded around 525 and came in the year 1000 to the Bishopric of Würzburg. This pin was high from 1500, part of the Frankish Empire circle. The office of the Prince-Bishopric was ceded to the secularisation of 1803 in Bavaria's favor in 1805, Archduke Ferdinand of Tuscany to form the Grand Duchy of Würzburg and fell with this 1814 final at Bayern.
