Park Street (MBTA-Station)
Park Street is the name of an applied on two levels as Tower Station subway station of the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority ( MBTA ) in the center of Boston, Massachusetts in the United States. It provides access to the lines Red Line and Green Line, as well as a connecting tunnel to the neighboring station Downtown Crossing migration options for the Orange Line subway and bus rapid transit system of the Silver Line.
History
The Park Street station was opened for the Green Line on September 3, 1897, extended on March 23, 1912 to a second level for the Red Line. The metro station is so common with the station Boylston one of the oldest subway stations throughout the United States.

The underground station has six tracks, two of which are on the lower level for the trains of the Red Line and four on the first level for the trams ( " Light rail " vehicles ) of the Green Line are available. The tracks of the Red Line are a central platform and two side platforms accessible (known as " Spanish solution " ), the tracks of the Green Line to two central and one side of the platform are achieved.
