Pelle Carlberg

Pelle Carlberg (born 21 October 1969 in Uppsala ) is a Swedish indie pop musician.

Career

Carlsberg grew up in the Swedish university town of Uppsala, which lies about 70 kilometers north of Stockholm. As a teenager, he developed a passion for Depeche Mode and The Cure. A concert by the band Gyllene Tider, in the then starred Per Gessle, later known as one half of Roxette, 1980 for Carlsberg became a formative experience, because from that day on he wanted to be a musician and be a crowd. He then played in various bands, but which remain largely unknown. In 1998, Carlsberg his band Edson, which became known outside of Sweden in the indie scene. After three albums released to Carlsberg tried as a solo artist and brought in March 2005 in Labrador Records, where he had already produce with Edson, his first solo EP Go To Hell, Miss Rydell out. In October of the same year the EP Riverbank followed. The success encouraged him to turn of the year 2005/2006 his debut album Everything.Now! to publish. In March 2007, then came the follow-up album In A Nutshell on the market.

In spring 2008, Pelle Carlberg went back with the band members of Edson on tour. Along with Club 8 they gave concerts in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia. In September 2008, appeared with The Lilac Time, the third solo album by Carlsberg.

In summer 2009, Pelle Carlberg took own Swedish children's songs with his three youngest children on Truls and the twins Astrid and Hedda. Under the name Tvillingarna, Truls & Jag were the four in Stockholm together on stage.
