Podil Raion
The Rajon Podil (Ukrainian Подільський район / Podilskyj raion; Russian Подольский район / Podolski raion ) is one of ten counties ( Rajone ) the city of Kiev, capital of Ukraine.
Today's Rajon was founded in 1921 and located in the western part of the city on the right Dneprufer. Podil has about 193,000 inhabitants and an area of about 34 km ². The population density is 5678 inhab. / Km ² ( 2013).

A quarter of Rayon Podil is the district of Podil ( Поділ ) one of the oldest neighborhoods in the city, which gave its name to the Raion.
