Poleñino
Poleñino ( Polinyino Aragonese ) is a municipality in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon in Spain. It is located in the comarca of Monegros on the River Flumen.
History
The name of the village is attributed to a Roman landowners Paulinus. First mentioned in a document of the place is in 1134 on the death of Alfonso I ( Aragón ).

- Built in the Romanesque-Gothic transition style in the 16th century Mudejar enlarged nave parish church ( Assumption of Mary ) with side chapels and a strong tower that was damaged in the Spanish Civil War.
- The palace of the Vizcondes de Torres Solanot from the 16th century.
- The medieval hermitage of Santa Brigida.
