Pontinvrea

Pontinvrea ( in Ligurian: O Ponte ) is a municipality with 855 inhabitants (as at 31 December 2012) in the Italian region of Liguria. Politically it belongs to the province of Savona.

Geography

Pontinvrea located in the northern section of the Ligurian Apennines. The community is surrounded by forests and is drained by the river Erro. In spring and autumn the forests of Pontinvrea are a popular destination for mushroom pickers.

Pontinvrea belongs to the Comunità Montana del Giovo and is about 25 kilometers from the provincial capital Savona.
