Puente de Montañana

Puente de Montañana (Catalan Pont de Montanyana ) is a Catalan-speaking, the Franja de Aragón associated municipality in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon in Spain. It is located in the south of the comarca Ribagorza on the west bank of the river Noguera Ribagorzana.

Economy

The traditional weaving has been received as well as a mill. The municipality owns a hydroelectric power plant on the Noguera Pallaresana. The former importance for management and schools no longer exists due to the depopulation.
