Qala, Malta

Qala (or Il- Qala ) is a village in the eastern part of the island of Gozo Malta and has 1640 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2010).

Near the village is the coastline of Hondoq ir - Rummien, with pools of salt (salt works ) and popular with divers caves. The bay offers a beautiful view of Comino.

At the site there is the Menhir Qala.
