Raková, Čadca District

Raková (Hungarian Trencsénrakó - to 1907 Rakova, Polish Rakowa ) is a municipality in the north-western Slovakia.

Location

It lies in the valley of the Kysuca on the banks of the river and its tributaries Raková and Trstená, between the Javorník Mountains and Turzovská Highlands Highlands. The city Čadca is 4 km east of the municipality.

History
