Rastislav Å pirko
Rastislav Spirko ( born June 21, 1984 in Vrútky, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak ice hockey player who is since May 2013 in HK Spartak Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.
Career
Rastislav Spirko began his career as a hockey player with the MHC Martin, for the first team, he made his debut in the Slovak Extraliga during the season 2002/ 03. In his rookie year he scored a total of 54 games 24 points scorer, of which eleven goals. Then the winger went to North America, where he worked for Tri -City Storm first played a year in the Junior League United States Hockey League. He then attended two years, the University of North Dakota, for their hockey team he participated in parallel on the game operation of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. With his university team, he won it in 2006, the championship of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association. Finally, for the season 2006 /07 he returned to MHC Martin in the Slovak Extraliga back.
For the season 2007/ 08 changed Spirko for HC Slovan Ustecti Lvi from the Czech Extraliga. With the previous Movers he had to accept the direct re- descent into second-rate first league. In this he also spent much of the 2008/09 season, before he joined the Extraliga HC Pardubice participants joined shortly before the end of the season. With the HC Pardubice he became Czech champion in the 2009/10 season. He was named player of the Extraliga, who had distinguished himself on and off the ice by exemplary conduct and fairness, was elected.
For the 2011/12 season Spirko was obliged by HC Lev Poprad from the Kontinental Hockey League. He spent the following season with Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg and completed nearly 60 KHL games for the club before moving to HK Spartak Moscow in May 2013.
Internationally
For Slovakia Spirko took part in the U18 World Youth Championship 2002 and the U20 World Junior Championships in 2003 and 2004.
