Riedwihr
Riedwihr ( German Weier Ried ) is a commune with 398 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin in the Alsace region. She is a member of the Communauté de communes du Pays du Ried Brun.
Geography
The municipality is situated approximately ten kilometers north east of Colmar on the banks of the small river blind.
History
In 1279 the village was called " Rietwilr ".

The village church of Sainte -Marguerite was built from 1864 to 1882.

Along with the neighboring communities Bischwihr, Holtzwihr and Wickerschwihr maintains Riedwihr friendly relationship with the German community Bahlingen am Emperor chair.
