Rofo

Rofo is a native of Belgium, was founded in 1982 by Ronny Verrept and Fonny De Wulff. Their two first two initials of the respective first name give the group name Rofo. The mainly with synthesizers electronically produced music lined up Rofo into the area Synthdance and Italo - Disco. Since the emergence of some more or less successful tracks and two albums were released on various record labels.

History

Your first track Watch Out, Here They Come and Flashlight on a Disco Night produced the then newcomer along with Peter Vriends ( vocals ) and producer Ray "Flashlight " Muylle in their own former 8- tracks studio. After the worldwide success with the latter title Ronny and Peter left the group.

Published in 1985, the single Rofo I Want You with new singer John Sauli. 1987 Beach Love, composed and produced by Rob van Eijk and Michiel van der Kuy, brought ( co-producer of Koto and Laserdance ) on the market. It was followed by the first publication of the highly successful title Rofo 's Theme and early 1988, the first album Rofo, named after the group. In the same year " The Album " again revised and supplemented with new mixes and songs. Also the slightly refreshed Single Rofo 's Theme (Let's Go) came out new. The last new song by Rofo Rofo 's Theme came in 1990 with 2 Then there was only remixes and remakes. In 1997, a new edition of the last successful title Rofo 's Theme was released.

  • Rofo 's Theme is also the theme song of the German Catch Wrestling League EWP ( European Wrestling Promotion), also it is used as inlet and team's formation, Music in football ( eg Anker Wismar, Rostock Hansa or Eintracht Braunschweig ).
  • Rofo 's Theme was the theme music of the ZDF children's show cross- head from 1991 to 1995.
