Rojetín

Rojetín ( German Rojetein ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located nine kilometers north of Velka Bites and belongs to Okres Brno- venkov.

Geography

Rojetín located in the belonging to the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands Highlands Křižanovská ( Krischanauer Bergland ) on an eastern slope over the source troughs of two small tributaries of the Libochovka. To the north are located on a spur above the Libochovka the remains of the fortress Žďárec. To the south rises the Chochol (512 m).

Neighboring towns are Vratislávka, Borkovec and Žďárec in the north, Ostrov in the northeast, and Řikonín Kutiny in the east, in the southeast Lubné, Níhov in the south, and Březí Borovník in the southwest, and Rozseč Milešín in the west and Vidonín and Jeřábkův Mlýn in the northwest.

History

The first written mention of the village was in 1353, when the wife of Nepokoj of Rojetín, Jitka, the court Rojetín and accessories to Hynko of Olší ​​and his son sold. This sold three farms of the village to the Pleban Peter of Tasov. The oldest town seal dates from 1749 and is called Diedina Roetin. In 1791 the village consisted of 21 houses and 152 inhabitants had. 1839 lived 220 people in 24 houses of Rojetín. In Rojetín was a courtyard of the rule Ossowa. This was under a hunter, which were under the forests between Rojetín Víckov and Nová Ves. Connected to the manor was a distillery and sheep.

After the abolition of patrimonial Rojetín formed in 1850 a municipality in the district of Brno and judicial district Tischnowitz. Since 1896, the village belonged to the newly formed district Tischnowitz. In 1900 the village had grown to 32 houses. The population consisted of 257 Czechs, who were all Catholic. 1921 were in the village of 36 houses. In Rojetín lived at that time 248 Czechs and a German and a foreigner. With one exception, were all Catholics. After the dissolution of Okres Tišnov the village came with the beginning of 1961 to Okres Zdar nad Sázavou. Below went the sheep.
