Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.. is in the Commercial Register in Monrovia (Liberia), a registered company with US-amerikanischen/norwegischen roots. Headquartered in Miami is the second largest cruise company in the world. It has five subsidiaries, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Pullmantur (to which the airline belongs Destination ), Azamara Club Cruises and CDF Croisières de France. In addition, the company holds 50 percent of the shares of TUI Cruises.

History

Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.. was formed after the purchase of Celebrity Cruises by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line in 1997, two brands were only joined by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean International. Thus, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. was. same for both the mother daughter.

The third daughter was Iceland Cruises, which secured a joint venture with British First Choice Holidays access to the markets of Great Britain and Brazil.

In November 2006, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. purchased. Pullmantur Cruises in Madrid ( Spain) in May 2007 Azamara Club Cruises was formed as a subsidiary of Celebrity Cruises. Added to this was in May 2008, yet CDF Croisières de France, for French speaking customers and TUI Cruises, together with the German TUI AG for the German market.
