Sean O'Connor (ice hockey)

Sean O'Connor (* October 19, 1981 in Victoria, British Columbia) is a Canadian- German ice hockey player who is since December 2013 at the Schwenningen Wild Wings in the German Ice Hockey League contract.

Career

Sean O'Connor began his career as a hockey player with the Moose Jaw Warriors, for by 2002 he was active from 1999 in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League. Then the winger spent two years playing for San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League, as well as their farm team Jackson Bandits and Augusta Lynx of the ECHL. During the season 2004/ 05 he was parallel for the San Diego Gulls of the ECHL and the Cincinnati Mighty Ducks of the AHL on the ice.

From 2005 to 2007 Sean O'Connor stood at the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL on the ice, however, was during the 2006/07 season due to injury just five games contest. After one year each at Las Vegas ' League rivals Phoenix Roadrunners, the Victoria Salmon Kings from his hometown and the Ontario Reign. For the season 2010/11, the German -Canadian has been committed by the Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga.

In the season 2012/13 he signed a contract with the ERC Ingolstadt. For the 2013/14 season he was bound by the EHC Red Bull Munich. During the current season he moved in December 2013 to further the Schwenningen Wild Wings.
