St. Paul's Bay

San Pawl il- Bahar (English St. Paul 's Bay ) is a small town in the northwest of the island of Malta, with a population of 14,993 (as of 31 December 2010). It consists out of the districts in the northeast to Qawra Salina Bay and the larger Bugibba on the southwest by the St. Paul 's Bay. The Cape Qawra Point separates the two bays and districts.

History

During the Roman and Byzantine occupation of Malta (ca. 218 BC to 870 AD) lived in the area around St. Paul 's Bay mainly farmers and fishermen. As dwellings mainly natural caves were.
