Stefano Margoni

Stefano Margoni ( born May 12, 1975 in Pozza di Fassa ) is an Italian ice hockey player who is under contract with SHC Fassa in the Serie A1 since 2009.

Career

Stefano Margoni began his career as a hockey player with the SHC Fassa, for the first team to 2005 he was active from 1991 in the Italian Serie A1. The 2005/06 season he spent with his league rivals HC Bolzano, before he ran aground three years for SG Pontebba. For the 2009/10 season the winger returned to his original club SHC Fassa.

Internationally

For Italy Margoni took part in the junior level at the U18 European Junior Championships in 1993 and the U20 Junior B World Championships in 1994 and 1995. In the senior level, he stood in the squad of his country at the B World Championships in 2003, 2005 and 2009 and at the A World Championships in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2010. Moreover, he represented Italy at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin.
