History

The name Thierstein is first detected on 20 March 1340 a document issued by the Albrecht Nothaft of Tirstein certificate in the District Archives Eger ( Cheb). Cemetery

In the local cemetery reminds a common grave with a memorial stone at 69 concentration camp victims that have lost their lives in the Nazi tyranny and buried here.
