Toivakka

Toivakka [ toi̯ʋɑkkɑ ] is a municipality in the landscape of Central Finland in the west of Finland.

Towns

To the municipality includes the villages Haukanmaa, Heiska, Huikko, Humalamäki, Kankainen, Kirkonkylä, Nisula, Paloskylä, Ruuhimäki, Taka- Toivakka Vihijärvi and Viisarimäki.

Policy

The Centre Party and the Social Democrats are in Toivakka with an election result by around 31 percent each in the local elections in 2008 and about the same place in the council, the highest decision-making authority in local affairs, seven deputies. Third strongest force, the Christian Democrats with three seats, followed by the conservative National Coalition Party has two seats. Two mandates also won a local list of voters ( Toivakan sitoutumattomat yhteislista ).
