Torre d'Isola
Torre d' Isola is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2408 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the Province of Pavia in Lombardy. The community is located approximately four kilometers northwest of Pavia along the Ticino, Parco naturale della Valle del Ticino lombardo.
History
In the 12th century, the place is known as Ynsula, who later - is called Turris insulae - from the 15th century.
Traffic
Due to the congregation of the feeder road Autostrada A53 from the Autostrada A7 ( Milano-Genova ) leads to Pavia.
