United States Open (squash)

The United States Open, U.S. Open short, are held annually squash tournament for men and women. It takes place in Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is held each part of the PSA World Series of lords and the WSA World Series of ladies.

The men's tournament was originally launched in 1954, first to the American variant of squash sport, hardball squash. Only since 1985, the tournament will be played in the international squash variant and currently belongs to the category World Series gold, the third highest rating category. The total prize money is thus 115,000 U.S. dollars. In the women the discharged since 2010 tournament also belongs to the category World Series gold and has a total prize money of U.S. $ 70,000.

With three titles Jansher Khan and Peter Nicol are record winner. In the women won so far always different players.
