Valentí Marín

Valenti Marín i Llovet ( born January 17, 1872 in Barcelona, † December 7, 1936 ) was a Catalan notary, chess player, chess composer and nonfiction author.

For Spain he played from 1924 to 1931 in five Chess Olympiads: Chess Olympiad in Paris in 1924, Chess Olympiad 1927 in London, Chess Olympiad 1928 in The Hague, the Chess Olympiad 1930 in Hamburg and the Chess Olympiad 1931 in Prague.

He was President of the Spanish Chess Federation ( Federación Española de Ajedrez, FEDA ).
