Vieux-Thann

Vieux -Thann ( German Altthann ) is a commune with 2900 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Haut-Rhin region of Alsace. She is a member of the Communauté de communes du Pays de Thann.

Geography

The municipality is located in Vieux- Thann valley of the Thur at the foot of the Vosges. It is directly adjacent to the city of Thann and is located about 20 km from Mulhouse.

Viniculture

In the municipality of Vieux -Thann is located on the steep slopes of the Thur with the brats the southernmost wine region of Alsace.
