Geography

The municipality Yateras has a total area of ​​625.34 km ². It is bordered to the north by the province of Holguín and closes on the east by the municipality of Baracoa, on the southeast by San Antonio del Sur, on the south by Manuel Tames and to the west by the province capital of Guantánamo.

Attractions

Approximately 24 km from Guantánamo away at Finca San Lorenzo is the open air museum " Museo Zoologico de Piedra ". Originally from a farming family sculptor Ángel Iñigo Blanco created there since 1977, a park of stone figures representing animals.
