Yi-ngo District

Amphoe Yi - ngo ( Thai: อำเภอ ยี่งอ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of Narathiwat Province. The Narathiwat province is located southeast of the southern region of Thailand, at the border to Malaysia.

Geography

Adjacent counties and regions are (from north clockwise): Amphoe Bacho the, Mueang Narathiwat, Ra Ngae and Rueso. All Amphoe located in the province of Narathiwat.

Management

Amphoe Yi - ngo is divided into six subdistricts ( tambon), which continued in 40 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Yi - ngo ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ยี่งอ ) is also the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district, it consists of parts of the tambon Yi - ngo.

In addition, there are six " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
