1939–40 La Liga

The Primera División 1939/40, was the ninth season in the history of the Football League. The season started on December 3, 1939 and ended on 28 April 1940. During the Civil War ( season 1936/37-1938/39 ) were held no championships. After the victory of the anti-Republican forces under Francisco Franco the game operation was resumed.
