1940 Argentine Primera División
The Primera División 1940, the 10th season of the Argentine Football League Primera División was. Had started the season on 19 March 1939. The last round was December 2. 1939. Promoted as Banfield came from the Primera B Nacional do so. CA Boca Juniors ended the season as champions and thus became the successor to CA Independiente. In the Primera B Nacional had to dismount CA Velez Sarsfield and the Chacarita Juniors.
