1948 Giro d'Italia

The 31st Giro d'Italia was held to 6 June 1948 by 15 May. The cycling consisted of 19 stages with a total length of 4,164 kilometers. It was the last event of the Giro under the Race Director Armando Cougnet.

Fiorenzo Magni won the Giro victory in front of Ezio Cecchi. The mountain competition was won by Fausto Coppi, the team scoring the team Wilier - Triestina.
