1977 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Cup

The Volleyball World Cup in 1977 was the third edition of the competition. He was held in Japan between the 17th and the 29th of November. The USSR won the title.

Mode

The first round was played in four groups of three teams. The top two teams in each group qualified for the second round, where they were divided into two groups of four teams. The group winners and runners of the two groups formed the Championship group.
