1979 IIHF European U18 Championship
The 12th Hockey Championship U18 juniors took place from March 31 to April 6, 1979 in Katowice and Tychy in Poland. The Games of the B group were discharged from 4 to 8 March 1979 in Miercurea Ciuc in Romania. The C group played from 1 to 6 March 1979 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
